The Trap of Multiple Choice

30 July 2026

From a meal on a menu
to a career or a partner,
humans have an unseen addiction to choice.

We have been conditioned to believe that options are good
that they provide variety, freedom, power.

On paper this appears true.
In reality, the choice is already limited
by the options presented.

A mind steeped in lack and inadequacy
will not question this.
It clings to the options because they offer the illusion of control.

True choice does not arise from a list.
It arises when the full human experience
feeling, senses, environment, momentary inspiration
comes together
and the direction feels clear beyond words.

If you have ever felt an unexplainable conviction
to move toward something,
that is true choice.

Look carefully.

Where in your life are the options already predisposed
by a world designed to satisfy a conditioned mind?

Where are you choosing from?

The questions are here, if you want them.
